This blog shows how I repair damaged solar powered flood light. In my case, I decided to use my own circuit to replace the existing damaged circuit. TIP122 darlington transistor is the main component to perform its automatic operation. The same concept with the existing design, it automatically turn on the LED during night time and automatically off during daytime to save manpower. This DIY design is a good replacement specially when you are good in terms of electronics work due to soldering and wiring applications.
This wiring diagram includes TP4056 charging module which is good enough in charging 18650 batteries.
This wiring diagam is good enough in terms of charging but no protections in the part of the battery. This circuit does not use a TP4056 module that speeds up the charging process.

How to Repair Flood Light - this video is an actual troubleshooting and repairing of damage flood light. In this video I prefer to use tp4056 charging module for 18650 batteries safety. TIP122 Darlington transistor is also added as substitution for the damage circuit.
